Our Staff

Shawn Gerdes Board Secretary/Manager	Shawn has been with AID for 17 years. He began his employment here as a ditchrider. In 1995 he was promoted to Manager and in 2004 he was given the extra responsibility of Board Secreatary. Shawn oversees the management of the district, ensuring that the water gets to our customers, getting measurements each day from all areas in the Basin who we are affected by. Shawn is able to make pretty accurate predictions of the district's water situation for the year. This information is then disseminated to our district members. Shawn stays on top of all legal issues in the Basin and without worry of harsh criticism from the public, stays true to the district's customers and what is best for them and what is in their best interest. Shawn has served on the Board for the Oregon Water Resource Congress, this year, 2012, being elected as Vice-President of this board. In January of 2012, he was also elected to the Board of the Special Districts Association of Oregon.
Juanita DeJarnett Office Manager	Juanita has been with AID for 11 years. Juanita works in the office taking your calls and change requests. Juanita is responsible for preparing and sending out notices, letters, assessments, and newsletters. She also anwers and handles all water transfer and instream lease questions and processes. Whenever possible, Juanita will answer your questions but will direct you to Shawn or one of the other staff if a more technical answer is required and the answer needed is out of her scope.
Colin Wills Field Supervisor	Colin began working for the District in 2008 as a ditch rider. He left the District to pursue other goals for approximately 6 months and returned to the District in February of 2011 as Field Supervisor. Colin is motivated to learn all aspects of the District.
